Artificial Intelligence Features Terms
Effective date: 8 July 2026 — draft, to be validated by a lawyer.Preamble and scope
These AI Terms supplement the General Terms of Use of remind-r.eu, published by Molderez-Consult SRL, and form an integral part thereof. By activating or using an AI Feature, the customer and its users accept them; in the event of a conflict concerning the AI Features, they prevail. They apply as from 8 July 2026 to any subsequent use of the AI Features, which are offered as a complement to the service and may be activated, deactivated, limited or modified.
Definitions
"AI Features": the functions relying on artificial intelligence, in particular the ingestion of a document (PDF, presentation) to produce a structured course, the generation of quizzes, the production of summaries and learning objectives, and writing assistance. "Input": any content, data or instruction submitted to an AI Feature. "Output": any content generated by an AI Feature on the basis of an Input.
Customer responsibilities and human oversight
The customer remains responsible for the use of the Output and undertakes to review, verify and validate each Output before relying on it, publishing it or using it for training, assessment or certification purposes. Effective human oversight is required: the AI Features are decision support and do not replace the judgment of a qualified professional. The customer warrants that it holds the rights over the Inputs and refrains from submitting unlawful, misleading or infringing content.
Third-party AI providers and subprocessing
The AI Features rely on one or more third-party AI providers acting as processors within the meaning of the GDPR, listed in the register of subprocessors and governed by the data processing agreement (DPA). These providers are selected on the basis of their compliance and their hosting within the European Union; any unavoidable transfer outside the EU is subject to appropriate safeguards.
No training on customer content
The customer's Inputs and Outputs are not used to train, retrain or improve the models of the third-party AI providers. The processing of Inputs is limited to what is strictly necessary to provide the feature and produce the requested Output. The providers do not reuse the customer's content for their own purposes.
Accuracy, limitations and disclaimer of warranties
The AI Features rely on probabilistic models: the Output may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or unsuitable, and does not constitute professional, legal, medical or regulatory advice. It is provided "as is" and "as available"; to the extent permitted by applicable law, all implied warranties are excluded. This clause does not restrict the customer's mandatory rights, nor liability that cannot be excluded under Belgian law (fraud, gross negligence).
Compliance with the EU AI Act
The AI Features are designed as limited-risk AI systems within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 and subject to the transparency obligations: users are informed that they interact with an AI system and that the Output is generated by AI, under human oversight. They do not implement any prohibited practice and are not intended for high-risk use; the customer refrains from any high-risk use without its own compliance assessment.
Data protection and ownership of Output
The customer applies minimisation (submitting only strictly necessary data as Input), acts as controller (Molderez-Consult SRL as processor, under the DPA) and determines the legal basis. No special categories of data (Art. 9 GDPR) are submitted except where necessary and lawful. No decision based solely on automated processing producing significant effects is taken (Art. 22 GDPR): every Output requires human validation. Subject to the rights of third parties, the customer may use the Output for its internal training needs; as the Output is not exclusive, similar Output may be generated for other customers.
Governing law and contact
These AI Terms are governed by Belgian law; any dispute falls within the courts of the judicial district of Brussels. Publisher: Molderez-Consult SRL, CBE 0842.262.084, Brussels. Data protection contact: dpo@remind-r.eu (to be confirmed).
